A vote for Sheats is a vote for Maine
I’m writing to support Bettyann Sheats for Senate.
Bettyann has demonstrated commitment to respect and represent all of her constituents. She supports Maine’s Marriage Equality Law and is running as a Clean Election candidate. Republicans would like to eliminate both of these Maine traditions.
People’s vote for Bettyann for Senate on Nov. 5 would be a vote for Maine and our community’s future well-being.

Hoke would ‘work hard and effectively’ for House District 76
I am writing in support of Tammy Hoke’s campaign for House District 76 — Jay, Livermore Falls and Livermore.
At a time when so much of our politics has become a slogan-based food fight, it is rare to encounter someone so entirely motivated by her desire to serve.
Tammy Hoke has lived and worked in Jay her entire life and wants to continue that service by representing us in Augusta. Her work history exemplifies her commitment to community service.
I met her when she volunteered as a teen at the Jay Niles Library. She has been that library’s director for thepast 18 years and, in between, she was a family support worker, served on the Regional School Unit 73 board, and worked with literacy volunteers.
With her deep understanding of our community, she would work hard and effectively for us in Augusta.

Maine deserves a politician like Rep. Libby
I’m writing in support of Laurel Libby for state representative. Although Laurel does excellent work on policy decisions, the most important thing to me is her character.
It’s unusual for a politician to be honest, and Laurel has proven herself to be that. She sincerely does her best for the people of Maine and her constituents, and she’s honest when she’s succeeded or failed, and tells us why.
I think a big part of why Laurel is such an honest politician is that she is a family person. She understands what we all go through as we make home budgets and struggle with expenses.
I’ve learned so much about politics from her as she communicates to her constituents. Our state deserves a politician like Laurel. Laurel understands us and is honest with us. That is why I will vote for her this November.
